From the Logan airport of Boston to Hanover there is the great dartmouth coach which permits you to come and visit us without the usual stress. We took it a couple of time - even with Chloé and it was just fine.
Departure is from the main exit of Logan airport - leaving the airport take the right exit but you can also ask the information desk there. You do not need any ticket at first.
The bus are of 2 types - blue or white but always with the words "dartmouth coach" on it.
The driver will stop there anyway as it is the main stop. Give your luggages to the driver indicating where is your final stop.
When you will be in the bus relax and enjoy the view of Boston center.
About 15min later the coach will stop at Boston South Station where you will need to buy your tickets from. The driver will indicate you all the details by a general announcement. The cheapest if you are coming back the same way is to take directy a go and return which cost about 55$ (35$ one way). The coach is free for 1 kid per adult - under the age of 14.
Also i know that there is something about visiting Boston for the day with the same roundtrip ticket or something like that - check the website for more info on this.
In the bus a movie will be proposed to you - some headset are available to do so. You will get a light snack as Bretzel (yes we did leave the Alsace Bretzel for the Boston ones... it made us laugh the first time) and a small bottle of still water too .
The route will be as follow : Boston Logan airport --> Boston South Station where you can grab and pay for your tickets (10min break) --> New London (quick stop you might not want to leave the coach or wave at the driver) --> Lebanon (quick stop!) --> Hanover last stop
At each time it took us about 2:30 including all the stops - but it is according to the weather and trafic obviously.
Dartmouth coach are available every 2 hours about from 8:55am to 8:55pm - you can check and see the current timetable from their website.
